No, you do not need to be the original owner, nor do you need a receipt or a warranty registration card. If any Leupold riflescope, mount, red dot, binocular, or spotting scope fails to perform, the company will repair or replace it for free, with no time limit.
Are the electronic components in rangefinders covered under the same lifetime warranty?
Electronic components—such as those found in RX laser rangefinders and BX rangefinding binoculars—are covered by a limited five-year guarantee rather than the lifetime warranty. This warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the original date of purchase, and proof of purchase may be required.
How does the Leupold Custom Dial System work and is it free?
Every CDS-compatible riflescope is eligible for one free custom laser-etched elevation dial. You submit your specific ballistic information (found on your ammunition box) and your primary environmental shooting conditions to the company, and they will create a specialized dial that eliminates the need for bullet drop estimation; additional dials for alternative loads can be purchased separately.
What should I do if my riflescope runs out of elevation adjustment while sighting in?
Running out of vertical adjustment is often caused by alignment issues in the mounting system or the rifle’s receiver. You can contact technical service to diagnose the issue, and they can provide purpose-built mounting shims for vertical alignment free of charge within the United States.
Can I get prescription lenses installed directly through Leupold for their performance eyewear?
